diy: pillow inserts for free

this is a great way to repurpose your unloved, damaged, or outdated curtains and throw blankets.  they are the best materials to use as fillers because they have the right amount of bulk and softness.  you may also use worn-out clothes for this project.

decorative woven mat pillows in dire need of inserts.

old pillowcases as shells for fillers.

curtains and throws blankets as fillers.

option 1:  you can bundle up and shove the fillers straight to your pillowcase.

option 2: use an old pillowcase to provide shape and support.  i prefer this one because the fillers, especially the orange throw blanket are peeking through the woven mat material.
