diy: chalkboard wall mural

this super simple diy project is the perfect solution for large blank walls.  use it as your family command center to write reminders, to-do list, or sweet nothings.  fun and functional, who wouldn't want that?

trace your pattern with chalk.  i chose heart shape but you can also do whatever shape you like.

follow your outline with paint.  i skipped masking tape because i wanted this to look organic and laid-back.

fill in the rest.  dry completely.

condition with chalk.

done, done, done!  i adore the imperfect brush strokes!
