i just came home today from japan surplus along molino road. unfortunately, the super smart moi forgot to jot down the shop's name. you should be able to locate this shop easily though because it is next to a huge junk shop (with ridiculously overpriced wares) and in front of a funeral parlor.
anyway, i picked these two vintage leather beauties from brands bruno magli and marius patte. both bags were in excellent vintage condition with no major signs of wear on stitches, hardware, and leather.
the second bag was from marius patte of france. gorgeous, gorgeous snake embossed leather with exquisitely designed lock. the size was perfect for me, not too big and not too small. the adjustable long strap didn't hurt either. i can hardly wait to flaunt this soon.
these beauties were originally priced at 500 pesos each, but i luckily got it down to 400. i might visit the shop again this weekend for some handsome briefcases and luggage bags. until then, happy thrifting!
What a nice find! The bags look classy and in pretty good condition!
