i just got home from my favorite pinoy themed shop, country favorites at festival mall. the shop was on clearance-slash-close out sale, and all items were marked half off. i did plan to get a couple of native woven bags, but there was nothing too interesting for me to buy. the bags were heavily picked over, so i just decided to look for home accessories instead. and, since the prices were so good, i had to have something useful or something beautiful to bring home. without any further ado, here are my bargain finds of the day!
philippine-style rice hat, 300 pesos. instant conversation piece.
banig throw pillow covers, 2 for 3450 pesos. i love the simple natural color because it really goes well with all types of wood.
oversized woven laundry basket, 600 pesos. perfect for magazines or extra throw pillows.
see, i did pretty good today!
