diy: lacquered style wooden tray

i found this old, beat-up wooden tray tucked in our garage and just waiting for the garbage collectors to arrive.  to give it a new lease on life, i decided to paint it in bold lipstick red.  i chose high-gloss paint for added sheen.

scrub-a-dub-dub.  wipe and dry.

paint as usual.  dry completely.
