ReStore Philippines

i went to Habitat for Humanity ReStore along alabang-zapote road to try my luck on their preloved home furnishings.  the place was heavily picked over, obviously, since it opened 3 months ago not to mention it's a -ber month.  however, there were still tons and tons of construction supplies to choose from if you're in the process of renovating your house.

i'm kicking myself right now since i didn't get these wooden pantry tables for less than a thousand pesos each.  they would look really cool with tolix chairs for rustic industrial vibe.  hopefully, it's still there when i come back soon.  ReStore is worth visiting if you're a non-consumerist like me or a lover of all things vintage.

i didn't go home empty-handed though as i was able to purchase a dozen of 15 watts philips energy-saving bulbs for only 1100 pesos and four 500 ml dishwashing liquid for only 25 pesos a piece.  the price tag alone is a win, and thinking it's for a good cause, is a double win.
