mail day: two docs in the house

today's mail day are these two uber-nice looking pairs of dr. martens shoes from steamy finds.  i just recently discovered this facebook online shop, and boy, i am already hooked.  the shop carries a vast array of doc martens in vintage and rare styles.  it's up for you to authenticate the items though.

the first dr. martens have extremely cool pony hair details (technically, calf leather's hairy side) and they are exclusively made for izzue.  it says limited edition so that's a huge plus.  however, there are minimal bald spots on the pony hair.  they are somewhat evident but for the price, i really can't complain.  i will probably conceal the sparse areas with acrylic paint.

the second dr. martens are vintage lace-ups, which i'm totally obsessed right now.  my mind is currently running wild for outfits that i can pair with these shoes.  they are in almost mint condition.  truly unbelievable considering their age.  the leather is a bit stiff, and so i still have to break them in.

i got the doc martens x izzue suede pony hair combat boots for 1900 pesos and the vintage doc martens lace-up shoes for 1500 pesos.  also, i saved a little on shipping fee because it was a combined purchase.
