prepare bleach to disinfect and permanently get rid of molds. pour it in the water with dishwashing liquid of your choice.
start washing. i used soft nylon mesh brush to help me thoroughly clean the suede interior of the bag.
rinse, rinse, rinse.
stuff with old clothes or old towels to bring back original shape.
hang to dry. preferably in filtered sunlight to avoid color loss.
apply leather conditioner when 80% to 90% dry.
inspect for molds and other issues. completely dry the bag indoor.
enjoy your fresh, clean, and mold-free vintage coach bag.
