i excitedly went to u.s.a. ukay-ukay located at freva building imus, cavite. i was lucky enough to purchase a few men's t-shirts, a casual buttondown shirt, and a light brown long sleeves pullover. fellow thrifters did not pick the worn out and distressed t-shirts because they looked a bit old. to my eyes, however, the fading and distressing only added character making them totally unique. plus, the cotton material had gotten extremely soft and comfortable from years of love.
i was extremely happy with all of my loot, especially the black and grey t-shirts. one of the black t-shirts with "this is what cool looks like" print was undeniably borderline tacky. i found it to be too funny to pass up though, therefore it came home with me.
i also scored a super nice alien themed t-shirt, which is just another addition to my growing alien t-shirt collection. the best part of all? i only paid 210 pesos for 7 pieces of awesome-ness!!!!
