diy: ladder as multipurpose closet rack

i found this heavy-duty step ladder today, and i thought it would look really cool as multipurpose closet rack.  i could easily hang my "in-between" clothes in there with the help of large s-hooks because i don't like mixing them with my clean and newly washed items.  also, this step ladder could perfectly work well as sturdy shoe rack while utilizing the vertical space in my small walk-in closet turned bedroom.  aside from shoes and clothes, it could also be used for books, magazines, bags, potted plants, et cetera.  the possibilities are limitless.

here is the before shot.  old, rusty, dirty, and with chippy paints.  i had to scrub some of the loose paints, but not all, because i'm loving the rough luxe aesthetic.
