i decided to give a splatter paint treatment on one of our wooden console tables. i love the juxtaposition of splatter paint on this classic ilocos piece. wood purists may cringe, but as long as i love the finished product, i'm perfectly fine with it.
wooden console table before.
black enamel paint. i didn't do any sanding or priming. dry fully.
white enamel paint. have fun spattering, there is no right or wrong way to do it. wait to dry.
apply polyurethane for added protection from water stains and dirt marks. drying time is approximately 4 hours.
done! i can't wait to style it in my small bedroom!
ps: sold to a very nice relative-slash-customer.
